About

The Kwon Lab at Johns Hopkins University is interested in studying the generation and regeneration of the heart. We utilize a wide range of techniques and approaches, including embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells, mouse models, flow cytometry and FACS, RNA-seq, and others. We aim to combine a traditional developmental biology mindset with powerful new techniques to enable us to better dissect the molecular underpinnings of heart development.

This lab website was designed using Wix, but was heavily inspired by the websites of Cole Trapnell and Rahul Satija, which in turn were inspired by the lab website of Trevor Bedford. Our lab aspires to the principles of open sharing and collaboration, and is happy to provide data that is not immediately publicly accessible on request.
